These people are, in fact, actually evil and completely lacking in any sort of empathy for their fellow humans.
This is not an exaggeration.
Literally laughing at young children. Being tear-gassed.
There are Disney cartoon villains who wouldn’t even do that.
I know people like to say “nazis are people” but they’re fucking not, they’re daemons, and they want to create a literal Hell on Earth
Don’t look away from this. Don’t be silent. Hold them accountable, hold their supporters accountable. Make it clear that this is not right, not welcome, and that it is answerable. Force acquaintances and relatives who prop these people up to look at this, make them explain it to you. Demand they tell you why they’re okay with it so they have to say it out loud. Make them uncomfortable. Make them see it. Make them answer.
When I was in middle school, I took commissions from classmates for drawings of Spongebob characters for about a quarter a pop. It was one of my first forays into “professional” cartooning, and only a small example of the monumental impact of this plucky underwater sponge.
I know I’m not alone in believing that the show has left an indelible mark on the face of cartoon and internet history, and its aftershock will continue for many years.

Thank you to everyone who helped last time, but I need help again. I know it’s the holidays but again I need any help I can get.
I went to the vet and Koi is sicker than we thought. She either has parasites, a bowel disease…or cancer. In order to get a definite diagnosis, her labs and x-rays will cost over $600. This last visit has made me completely broke, and I had to have my mom cover some of the costs. Again, I have no job and am doing all I can applying to jobs.
